Love the contrarian view as opposed to Coach Weis.
Win forever and Fight On Pete!
From an Australian in Japan that knows nothing about American Football.
Coach Carrol said "I beleive day to day, something good's gonna happen ..." -- he visualizes and beleives good things will happen - he had and has a vision of what he wants in life. He has a goal, works on it everyday but is also truly joyful and relaxed ... He's also GRATEFUL for everything in his life and THAT allows more good to come in.
I LOVE that he doesn't tear down his players, but builds them up - gives them 'teachable moments'
A Better LA is how Pete Carroll gives back - he has been blessed and so he gives back by being of service - the more you give unconditionally, the more you get ..
Man, this guy it a GREAT example and he is not swayed by anyone - he's SO true to himself.
We can think/visualize & beleive our way out of negative circumstances - think positively ....
Good on ya man - you are a shining example for us all - thank you !!
Byron, thanks again.
